500,000 Baht house robbery in Soi Siam Country Club.

Police Lieutenant Nitipoom from Banglamung Police Station received a report of a robbery at the Siam Place Village 2 in Soi Siam Country Club in the early hours of Thursday Morning. He made his way to house number 35/4 and was met by the house owner, Khun Gitimar aged 31. She explained to Police that she left home at around 9pm and returned in the early hours to find her house had been broken into. The front door lock had been broken and many items had been broken inside the house. A 2 Baht-weighted Gold Bracelet, a pair of diamond earrings, a diamond ring and diamond bracelet along with a Sony Digital Camera, a wrist watch and cash were taken. She claims the total value of the stolen items is around 500,000 Baht. Officers suspect the thief may have come from a nearby construction site and are continuing to investigate the crime at this time.
