Local Gangster shot dead in Naklua Laundry.

On Thursday Evening, Police Colonel Sarayut, the Superintendant of Banglamung Police Station made his way to a Laundry in Naklua to investigate a fatal shooting. The victim, named as Khun Suntorn aged 24, was lying in a pool of blood inside the Laundry. A forensic Doctor examined the body and determined he had been shot in his head, chest, stomach and left hand. The murder was witnessed by many people, including a 15 year old friend of the victim. She explained that Khun Suntorn had come to visit her and as he pulled up to the laundry on his motorbike, a Blue BMW Car, with no number plate also pulled up and a Thai Man exited the car and proceeded to shoot in the direction of Khun Suntorn. A total of seven bullets were expelled and luckily passers-by were able to take cover. The victim is a known gangster from the Naklua area who is thought to have been involved in illegal drug activity. He is also suspected of shooting at a local journalist some weeks ago. Police are determined to find the killer, who sped off following the shooting and are sure that the victim’s anti-social and criminal activities are behind the killing.
